The OCA has gained autocephaly from the Russian Orthodox Church in 1970. Its autocephaly is not recognized by the Ecumenical Patriarchate and its subordinate Orthodox Churches.
The history of the young Church has more scandals, financial and moral, than proportionate to its small population.

Since its autocephaly of 1970 had 4 Metropolitan primates. They are alive. The current is Metropolitan Tikhon (Mullard). The previous three, all alive, retired or resigned, with a slew of moral and financial scandals:

ArchBishop Seraphim Storeheim earned his place in shame! While ArchBishop of all Canada 1990-2014, "charged by indictment with two counts of sexual abuse against two pre-teenage boys". Then jailed, and is a registered sex offender.
Nominated for Metropolitan of all OCA in 2008!
